Forum: etree Subject: can not download a single file completely

i have been using this site for several years and have never encountered this problem before. everyfile i try to download (using smart ftp) stops downloading after a while and i have to resume over and over again. is it just that the site has gotten so busy lately. any suggestions on how to stop having to resume all the time. i don't care how long it takes for a file to download, just so that it keeps going without having to restart it manually.

i have tried adjusting the "keep alive" at various increments (10s, 20s, 30s, 60s) all have the same (lack of) result.

i have also tried changing the timeout at all different levels (30s 60s, etc.) to no effect.

i have also tried changing from passive to port mode and vice versa and neither seems to have any effect on the problem.

so far this has been happening for about two weeks and it has taken that long to download one concert in drips and drabs.

thanks
